Introducing your portable de-cramping cuddle buddy! Designed to warm, sooth and provide relief from painful cramps, Cuterus is ultra soft, heatable, and always in a good mood (even when you’re not). Follow these instructions for heating and care!
Remove the inner heat pack from the back of your plushie before heating.
Place the heat pack in the center of the microwave plate and heat using the chart in the picture.
Do not put the whole plushie in the microwave!
Helpful hint: You can generally look up a microwave's wattage based on the model number.
Carefully remove the heat pack from the microwave (pack may be hot!) and place it into the plushie. Some steam is normal!
Your plushie will provide therapeutic heat for approximately 20-30 minutes.
Do not immerse plushie or heat pack in water, or wash in a washing machine.
Do not wash the inner heat pack.
Does heat really help period cramps? It can! Research has shown a consistent reduction in menstrual pain when heat therapy is used. (1)
Cramps are caused by the uterus contracting, and using heat on your abdomen or lower back can naturally increase the blood flow to the area. Increased blood flow can reduce muscle tension and relax the abdominal muscles, which can relieve the pain associated with menstrual cramps.
The heat pack in our plushie is made with tourmaline beads, which can provide 20-30 minutes of therapeutic heat and can hold heat for up to 40 minutes. The heat pack can be reheated again and again!
