Which tampons work with TINA?

TINA is designed to make tampons easier to use for everybody and every body. Some styles and brands of tampons work better with TINA than others, so we've put together a quick guide to which tampons will give you the best TINA experience.

Don't see your favorite tampon brand?

We've included some of the most common tampon brands in our list, but if you don't see your brand, here are some tips to help determine if your preferred tampon style will work in TINA:

  • Does it have an applicator? If you prefer to use applicator-free tampons (sometimes also called digital tampons) they won't work well with TINA. TINA is designed to clip on to the existing tampon applicator to assist with tampon insertion.
  • Is the applicator cardboard? Cardboard applicator tampons don't work well with TINA. For the best experience we recommend a compact tampon with a straight barrel and plunger—this style of applicator is a great fit for TINA. You can also use TINA's Tampon Adapter to accommodate tampons that look like a Tampax Pearl tampon—the applicator for this type of tampon has a tapered barrel without a lip and a skinnier plunger.
  • Does the applicator have a straight barrel and plunger or is the barrel tapered and is the plunger much skinner? TINA works best with applicators where both parts of the applicator are straight and close to the same size/shape. These tampons usually have a lip on the barrel that clips nicely into TINA to hold everything secure.
  • Does the applicator have a tapered barrel without a lip and is the plunger much skinner? If so, TINA comes with a Tampon Adapter to accommodate this type of tampon. Helpful hint: Tampax Pearl tampons and other similar tampons fall into this category!
